Our short list is a list of very similar boy names Opinions please !

Iddo
Ivo
Ira
Ezra

I love Ezra. The other 3 not keen on.

Really like Ezra but it’s quite popular now which puts me off a bit.

Ira is really cool and not popular at all so I’d pick that one.

All horrible sorry. There's just nothing appealing about any of them.

How about Ivor, with NN Ivo?

Love Ira. I like Ezra too but Ira is one of my favourite boy names.

Ivo is nice.
Iddo is genuinely awful.
The other two aren't great.

Ivo or Ezra. I only came across Ivo recently when watching comedian Ivo Graham and I really liked the name.

I really like Ivo and Ivor.

I've seen Iddo/Ido used in Israel (it's a legit Old Testament name) but don't think I've seen it in other contexts. I would unfortunately also worry about the jump to 'idiot' as an easy way of playground teasing.

Ira and Ezra are nice enough.

I only like Ezra but I really love it!

Iddo's. Nick name would be idiot how do you pronounce it !

Ezra is the only one that I would regard as an actual name. The rest look made up. I don’t like Ezra but it’s the only I would consider going for. The rest sound like silly sounds a baby would make. If he were to say any of those other names over the phone, he will spend his life spelling them out.

Well obviously they're not made up, just because you haven't heard of them. Goodness me (!)

Very Israeli! I like them all except Ivo.

They only look ‘made up’ to people who haven’t fathomed that names other than Jack and Sophie exist. Even that there are — gasp! Foreign names.

I really like Ira but discounted it from our shortlist because Irish and too similar to IRA.

Ivo and Ezra not my cup of tea but perfectly fine names. Not keen on Iddo though.

1 and 2 don't sound like names to me.

Ivo (awesome name)
Ira (nice and fits the grandpa name trend)

Ezra (pleasant enough but dull)

Iddo (I'm pronouncing it ih-doh and do not like the sound)

I think they're quite feminine, especially ezra and not keen on the others x
