Counter question...what childs names are UNpopular/less seen in primary schools right now?

I absolutely loved following the post with popular names in lower ages I.e repetitions seen alot in a class or age group etc.
I propose the opposite question as I'm looking for ANY names that might not be repeated in a class/year group.

What names are in your child's class that are not commonly repeated?

When I first started teaching we had lots of Sean/Shaun and Reece/Rhys - don't have any now. For girls we had more Megans, Chloes, Lauras- none now.

I know a teen called Simon which is very unusual
ime. Not met a Keith or Kevin under the age of 40. Some kids might know Kevin the Aldi carrot but not a human child.

When my son was born (1989) a friend from NCT had a little boy she called Kevin. I looked at the baby in the carry cot and thought 'no way'. It was old fashioned even then.

Brenda, Audrey, Doreen, Derek, Norman, Eustace.

I think the parents generation is right - so names popular in the 60s - 80s are unfashionable.

I'm a primary teacher and have primary -aged DC. Maisie, Beatrice and Imogen are not uncommon. Have definitely not had any Shakira's or Kirsties.

Names that were popular 10-15 years ago don't seem so common now. I rarely see Laurens or Jessica's now. Also 80s names like Nicola,Gemma,Claire, Joanne etc are almost never seen.

A couple of years ago there were lots and lots of Sophias and Sofias everywhere. It seems to have gone a bit out of style already. I meet less and less Isabellas as well.

Of this list, only Shakira is not in my DC's class.

Not many new testament names around where I live at the moment. There's the odd Thomas, Matthew, and Joseph, but no Pauls or Peters or Simons or Philips.
Likewise girls, I haven't heard of a Mary or an Elizabeth.

Anything dated. So mum/dad names and granny/grandpa names.

Many, many non-English names have never experienced widespread popularity in the UK. Especially those from less numerous ethnic groups (obviously it's going to depend on the demographics of the area).

I met three little Marys and one Marie last week (all 4-6). I was quite surprised.
