Big sister is Anna.

Any thoughts on these names welcome, or alternative suggestions. Currently paralysed with indecision!

I love Anna- so beautiful and classic!

Anna & Emily is lovely but I really love the name Clara it seems so elegant and really fits well with Anna so my vote is for Anna & Clara.

Mittens1717 · 17/04/2023 13:12

Clara, beautiful name

WhatHoMarjorie · 17/04/2023 13:44

I like Sylvia the best. Strong and womanly name. Sounds fresh these days.

Clara is good too.

Rose is nice but has been a bit overdone in recent years.

Emily is drippy.

Margo34 · 17/04/2023 13:56

I'd go for a name with a different ending sound...Sylvie (instead of Sylvia). Anna and Sylvie or Anna and Emily both sound lovely.

Agree with pp that Rose is nice but overdone.

AlbertaWildRose · 17/04/2023 13:58

Clara! Beautiful and not overly popular.

sandstormboots · 17/04/2023 14:11

Clara is beautiful and goes well with Anna.

octoberfarm · 17/04/2023 14:13

Love Anna! I think Rose or Clara would go beautifully.

IhearyouClemFandango · 17/04/2023 14:14

All lovely! Clara I think.

IhearyouClemFandango · 17/04/2023 14:15

We have a Rose, she’s nearly 13 and doesn’t have any peers with the same name. Lots of middle name Roses however. By all accounts it has increased in popularity however, so may be more younger ones.

Sadiegirl87 · 17/04/2023 14:23

Not sure about rhyming names so Clara would be out for me, I like rose the best despite it being popular

GeraltsBathtub · 17/04/2023 14:24

I love Sylvia or Clara. Emily is overused.

Theoldwoman · 17/04/2023 14:25

Anna and Emily for me.

redyellowpinkbluegreen · 17/04/2023 14:27

Clara

NBLarsen · 17/04/2023 14:31

Anna and Sylvia sound lovely together.

CharlotteJames19 · 17/04/2023 15:14

Definitely not Sylvia
Anna and Clara sound to similar to my ears.
So Emily or Rose for me X

IsaiditwasLighthearted · 17/04/2023 15:57

Clara is my fave from that list. It's lovely!

I prefer Sylvie to Sylvia, just sounds more "French chic" to my ear.

Emily and Rose are both "nice but dull" to me now. Just been too many of them!

YouNeverCanTellWithBees · 17/04/2023 16:06

Clara is lovely

GoodVibesHere · 17/04/2023 16:12

Emily is lovely

MWNA · 17/04/2023 16:13

Sylvia is beautiful.
I live Clara too.
Prefer Rosa.
Don't like Emily - agree it's drippy.

HockeyJock · 17/04/2023 16:17

Emily or Rose

CeliaNorth · 17/04/2023 16:22

I think Sylvia Rose is lovely, flows beautifully off the tongue. Sylvia means woodland or trees, so has a nice meaning, and associated with Rose brings up an image of gardens and nature.

I don't dislike Emily, but it has been very popular in recent years, so I'd give it a miss for that reason. I'm not mad about Clara.

StepIntoMyOffice · 17/04/2023 16:23

Clara would be my pick 👍

Snoopystick · 17/04/2023 16:24

Love Sylvie as others have suggested. Much prefer Emma over Emily.

violetcuriosity · 17/04/2023 16:24

I would go with Sylvie or Stevie, bit fresher than Sylvia

PurpleAirGuitar · 17/04/2023 16:34

Love Emily

Like Rose

Like Clara pronounced Clare-a but not Clar-a

Sylvia still sounds like an older lady's name to me.
