But it’s silent, so Charlotte ends in a consonant sound.

Conversely, Ruby, Hannah, Bethany and lily (all suggested above) end in a vowel sound despite being written with a consonant on the end.

I guess it depends if the OP is bothered by how it looks or how it sounds!
