None of them are brilliant but if I have to choose one it would be Finley so I can shorten it to Finn.

I agree with this

PurBal · 27/03/2023 11:13

Finley

Rauha · 27/03/2023 11:13

Otis

Pemba · 27/03/2023 11:18

Finley or Dominic. I would say Olly if it were short for Oliver, but not Olly alone.

Dawson is the worst, it's not really a first name.

GalaApples · 27/03/2023 11:21

Dominic because it is the only proper name. Olly is short for Oliver, and the rest are made up. Otis sounds like a lift.

This again!

Twizbe · 27/03/2023 11:33

Can't say any of them would be my choice.

Dominic is probably the best. It feels a bit dated, a bit 80s but not terrible.

Olly short for Oliver is ok but Oliver has been very popular for a while

Finley was also super popular about 6 years ago. I know a lot who are around that age.

Dawson is just Dawson's Creek to me.

shakeitoffsis · 27/03/2023 11:33

Rafferty is lovely

CC4712 · 27/03/2023 11:36

Finley is the only one I like.

Agree that Otis reminds me of a lift. A friend has an Otto. At first I didn't like it, but its grown on him and its a bit different.

BridieConvert · 27/03/2023 11:37

Finley or Otis.
Although I'd spell it Finlay

WeeBitOfWoo · 27/03/2023 11:39

I like Otis and Dominic.

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 27/03/2023 11:40

Dominic.

hlc123 · 27/03/2023 12:00

I like Olly, Finley and Otis and think they sound good with Hallie and Dexter

Boringcookingquestion · 27/03/2023 12:02

I think Olly sounds really sweet and fits with his sibling’s names. Congratulations OP!

fairycupcakes · 27/03/2023 12:04

Finley :)

LadyKenya · 27/03/2023 12:04

Dominic, if I had to choose one from this list.

justmyluck1234 · 27/03/2023 12:06

Would be either Finlay or Olly

Merrow · 27/03/2023 12:12

I think Otis goes well with your other names. Makes me think of Otis Redding, which is a good thing!

ComeTheFuckOnBridgett · 27/03/2023 12:13

Olly if I had to pick one. But would pick Oliver.

You do realize that ALL names are "made up"

DoNutSweatTheSmallStuff · 27/03/2023 12:18

Otis

readingisgreat · 27/03/2023 12:20

Finley, although I prefer Finnegan.

MarchMadness23 · 27/03/2023 12:25

Rafferty.

I think it's the best fit with your other names.

Dexter & Otis are dogs names
Dawson is a creek
Olly must be Oliver & doesn't go

Dominic - Raab & Doesn't go.
Finley I used to like, but far too over used now.

Pemba · 27/03/2023 12:27

Of course Otis is a name and not 'made up'! Otis Redding etc.

However I just keep thinking of Otis the Aardvark (CBBC, 1990s), anyone else remember that? I don't find the sound of it that attractive really.
