Names for twin girls

Hi all,
I have twin girls due in just under 2 months time and looking for some name suggestions.
Hubby and I had a few ideas but now we're just lost.
Any suggestions at all would be great.

A suggestion I really liked and which has worked well for my girls is to give Twin 2 the name that’s first in the alphabet. Sometimes schools/activities order by age and sometimes alphabetically and that way there is a chance that the younger one sometimes gets to go ahead of her ‘big’ sister! As for the names themselves we just went for ones we liked (didn’t focus too much on matching names either in length or ‘feel’, but that’s just what was right for us!).

I have known two sets of twin girls called Emma and Sophie which I think really work well together.

I like the idea of two flower/jewel names for twin girls also, so

Iris and Rose
Violet and Daisy
Amber and Pearl
Ruby and Jade

I knew twin girls a few years ago called Phoebe and Tabitha, they were extremely cute anyway and I loved those two names together. The only problem was that the names tended to get shortened to Fifi and Tabby which sounded like they were discussing the family pets and put me off them slightly.
Still lovely names though.

I know a Nell and Nora, named a year before the TV show nelly and nora aired. Love those names together though and helps that they're cute girls!

I also know twins called Ben and Holly... named years before the show 🤣

Only advice would be that the names start with different letters and that they don't rhyme! Am in child care so have seen my fair share of twins. They each deserve their own identity. All the best.
