Twin brother for Alex

Hello everyone, I'm pregnant with mo/di twin boys. I already started thinking about baby names. I've fallen in love with the name Alex, just that not Alexander and husband is on board. However we struggle to find another name that we like as much. I love Felix, but I'm not sure about Alex and Felix. Isn't it too matchy? Husband just thinks of cats when I mention Felix lol. Another option is Alex and Luca, which I think flows quite well. The last name we came up with is Ben. However I've always liked Benjamin more, and shortening it to Ben just because Alex is a short name feels wrong. What do you think about these combos? I'm still searching for simple boy names with european feel and would love to hear your suggestions. Thank you. 🙂

I think it needs to be a two syllable name, but not with an X in it. So not Felix.

Alex and Abel.
Alex and Arthur.
Alex and Marcus.
Alex and Theo.
Alex and Ryan.
Alex and Hunter.
Alex and Reuben.

Ahh Alex is lovely!!!! And I love love Alex and Luca, feel like that'd go so well and I can see myself naming twin boys that. Absolutely no to Alex and Felix, Felix will always make me think of a cat and it's too matchy!

Ezra
Noah
Rory

Leo

I think Alex and Benjamin sound lovely together.

I don’t think Alex and Benjamin go badly together, but I’d be a bit worried about having ‘Twin A’ and ‘Twin B’ vibes (due to the initials, not the names)

I would go for Alexander and Benjamin even if you always call him Alex. I know a teenage Alex and he hates the fact he hasn't got the long version of the name. Hates that it's a unisex name. He's the reason I would always recommend that people put the full version of a name on a birth certificate. Even if it's never used I think it gives the person more options.

If you went for Alec instead it's a full name and no concerns over the X sound.
