Isaac or Julian?

Just looking for opinions on both names & which one you prefer out the two please.

Isaac. Julian is awful.

I detest Isaac, so on that basis, Julian.

Isaac. Julian reminds me of Julian Clary.

I prefer Julian.

Like Isaac a lot. Personally, dislike Julian.

Isaac was the father of two sons who fought and deceived each other over favouritism and inheritance. I don’t know why anyone would choose it.

whereas Julian was the head of the Famous Five. It’s a no brainer, surely 🤷‍♀️

I actually quite like Julius, but I'm aware that wasn't the question 😅

Isaac. Julian reminds me of the drippy one in Famous Five.

Isaac for me. I don't dislike Julian, but it is just a bit too "Famous Five" for my liking. I'm aware though that that wouldn't put everyone off it, and it doesn't need to put you off if you love it.

Isaac means 'to laugh, to smile' I think it's a lovely meaning.
It will, however, be misspelled by many people and is very frustrating

I like both. Leaning more towards Julian but I think that's because Isaac is really, really common where I am.

Same as @Eranzer : like both, but Isaac is so popular now.
Julian could do with a little poke into resurgence, it's a nice name, reminiscent of ancient Rome.

Isaac, Julian is feminine to my ears and will be shortened to jules

Julia is feminine but Julian very much masculine!

I like Julius too! - I know a very nice one in his 30s.

Because it's a beautiful name and not everyone believes in fairy stories!

I like Julien but love Isaac, would have been my boys name if I'd had one!
