I loved reading the thread on the old lady names. Which are your favourite old man names?

I like Francis too, and Cuthbert and Ernest.

My 18 month old is called terence - terry for short. My dad passed away the year before I had him and named after him

I have a Stanley and love it!

Stanley I'm glad so many others are mentioning it on here. It was my lovely Grandad's name. I have only met 2 young boys called Stanley. It doesn't seem nearly as popular as Arthur, Alfie, Freddie, Archie etc

I also like Cedric. Possibly because of Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter.
