A brother for Nathaniel

I haven’t actually found out the sex of our upcoming baby yet, but looking at the scan I’m leaning towards a boy.

We had a really hard time choosing a name last time as we have quite different tastes but love his name and he really suits it. He pretty much always goes by Nate day to day.

On our shortlist last time was Gabriel, Reuben and Isaac but none were quite right and I think choosing one for DS2 would always seem like he just got the second best name.

Any inspiration? Our surname is a 3 letter animal.

I think Gabriel is lovely, and feels in a similar sort of territory as Nathaniel.

That would be my second favourite choice but I was really put off when I was pregnant with DS and someone told me about how their teenage grandson, Gabriel, was being horribly bullied and part of of it was being called ‘gay’.

Oh, that’s a pity.

Oh FGS, I know plenty of Gabriel's (including my own DS who is actually Gay) non of them have been bullied because of their name.
Thank Goodness our younger generation do not seem as judgemental.

We have a Sebastian and had DD been a boy she would've been Nathaniel. I think Nate and Seb are lovely.

NGL the name that immediately leapt to mind was Michael. Seems a nice pair with Nathaniel but maybe not quite the right one, if my guess for your second name is correct.
