Eliza or Sadie?

Eliza has always sounded spiteful to me, no idea why, I've never known one.

Eliza is lovely, and not that common but kind of timeless.

I do like Sadie, it sounds cute and quirky. You imagine a singer or actress, I am not sure it would work for a quiet shy girl. Also sounds connected to the word 'sadism' which puts me off a bit (probably daft).

Whereas Eliza could be any type of woman /girl.

Just my impressions, probably very subjective.

Eliza. If I had had a girl and not to boys it would have been Eliza, Hester or Martha.

As it is I have a Fabian and a Rafe, both of which I love!
