We have had a lovely baby boy and cannot think of a name for him. We have absolutely no idea, the pregnancy was a surprise so I think I hadn’t really thought/cared about it if I’m honest.

we like names that can be shortened, and are more old fashioned and not so popular.

please give me some inspiration. Now he’s here I feel awful he’s got no name

2 of my grandfathers had less popular names than the others, Ambrose & Ellis.
Ambrose was Amby to my granny and Ellis was El or Les.

Thank you.

we got DD’s name by looking through the family tree so we could do that again. That’s not a bad idea.

love some (too many) of the names suggested! I’ll run them by DH later and update on what he says.

There’s so many names on the list that we know someone with all ready. They must be more popular than we realised in our family.

we’re liking Albert,
DH likes Ezekiel and Quentin
I like frank and Ellis

There’s a couple more we’re debating too
thank you everyone

Congratulations!

Albert is nice, and then he can be Albie or Bertie. Frank or Francis are good.

I know a small baby Ellis, and it's a lovely name.
