Name Ida

A friend has named her baby girl Ida. I think it's awful, just so old fashioned. What do you think?

I really love it. I have a friend called Ida who is about 24 and she is fabulous.

I really like it - and as it has a lot in common with other short, currently trendy names (Isla, Ada, Edie...) it will probably be generally well received as fitting the current trend but being a bit different.

It's a lovely name. I know the sweetest little girl named Ida.

Actually, she's a very distant acquaintance - a Facebook person, whom I wouldn't exactly describe as a friend. I haven't met her for over 30 years. I just hate the name.

I love it. But I new an Ida and she was fab. It's often associations that make the emotional behind the name.
