Haha these were my exact choices for our boy. We went with Arthur 💙

CellarDoreen · 10/01/2023 16:14

Edward

Rainbowbaby13 · 10/01/2023 16:26

I love Arthur but I know a lot of baby Arthur's not that is really matters

blondie87 · 10/01/2023 20:10

Arthur or Edward

RambamThankyouMam · 10/01/2023 20:12

Edward is nice.

Luke = puke.

Kanaloa · 10/01/2023 20:14

I know lots of kids called Arthur and George right now, so I’d go with Edward or Luke. I like them both really. I like Eddie for a baby and little boy, then he can be Edward when he’s older.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 10/01/2023 20:14

Don't like Luke. Love the others.

stargirl1701 · 10/01/2023 20:19

Not Luke.

Look, Luke! 😂

resm · 10/01/2023 21:15

Love Luke!

jellybeans · 10/01/2023 21:18

Luke

Nicecow · 10/01/2023 21:26

Luke. The rest are old man names

UsuallySuze · 10/01/2023 21:26

Luke is a great name.

Mamazita · 10/01/2023 21:28

Luke for sure

Probablymagrat · 10/01/2023 21:31

They are all nice, but I like Edward the best. Its also got a lot of variations, Ed, Ned, Eddy, Ted ect, which you may or may not think of as an advantage.

I also like Edmund.

midsomermurderess · 10/01/2023 21:48

Luke. I’d imagine that’s quite a rare choice these days and it’s a sound, traditional name.

Rabbitsandhabits · 10/01/2023 21:49

Bit outing but we have an Art. It really suits him.

Hobbesmanc · 10/01/2023 22:01

All good solid names although George always feels a little stodgy.

Luke is a great biblical name but it did go through a little laddish phase. Like Jack. I always picture chick lit heroes called Luke. Tall. Dark. Handsome.

Arthur is such a lovely name but just very popular. Love Artie as a nickname. Teddy equally sweet. Edmund or Edgar could work.

I think Lawrence is due a revival and has a similar feel. Same with Eric. David and Peter also fabulous choices.

Insomnia23 · 10/01/2023 22:26

Any but not Luke

MushroomQueen · 10/01/2023 23:20

I have a Luke.

Rauha · 10/01/2023 23:21

George

Amipreg1 · 10/01/2023 23:22

I have an 8yo Arthur. I love it. It wasn't as popular when he was born but there seems to be a lot now.
Out of your list I like Edward.

RosesAndHellebores · 10/01/2023 23:28

I like Edward and Arthur best.

Luke feels dated and George always makes me thing of Georgy, Porgy, Pudden and Pie, kissed the girls and made them cry.

I have heard a few Julians lately. Philip is nice too, similar vibe but less popular.

Jadviga · 10/01/2023 23:28

I prefer Lukas to Luke personally. I like Arthur (it's my Ds1's middle name !)

George and Edward seem a bit boring to me.

Nathan ?
Alexander ?

Is he young? I’ve met 3 babies called Art in the last 6 months, wonder if it’s a new “in” name?
