Jessica and Ethan. Perfectly reasonable names but I can't stand them.

And anything that is a shortened version of a proper name like:

Georgie etc

So subjective though. Remember the shocked face of the woman in the next bed when I told her dd2s name. But she had named her twin sons Ben and Tom (to me super dull) so horses for courses!

I'm fine with this. I'm just not keen when people put the name it's derived from on the birth certificate "in case they want to use that when they're older" but NEVER use that name to refer to their child. Not even when they're naughty

Hate Chardonnay, Kylie, and cutesy names. For a female, you have to give them a name that wouldn’t cause mass hilarity if they became prime minister.

I thought DS' name may have got a mention but hasn't yet! I'm expecting baby#2 and might have to rethink some names off of the list as one of two seem quite unpopular 🙊

Outside of France Margot is actually pronounced Mar-gott. It's fairly popular in Germany pronounced like that.

Archie, my DS was bullied by one, he bullied a few boys. He was v sneaky with it, and got away with it for years. Name makes me shudder now.

My son has one of the most hated names on this thread 🤣. Although he thinks that it's great that he is the only one in his school if approx 1400 children called this name and feels sorry for the children who share the same name as three others in the class and are known as Name - Surnane initial.

Also not a fan of Luna. Makes me think of a loony/lunatic howling at the moon.

My all-time least favourite names are pretty unfashionable now, so just in case anyone wants to start a revival just to piss me off: Trudy and Wayne.
