I love Blake. OH loves Isaac. We both like but don’t love Rowan and Flynn. Former is growing on me and I do like the symbolism of the rowan tree. Both becoming quite popular though.

OH has been through the top 300 and said no to almost every one and when I suggest names he’s so unhelpful. Can’t even explain why he dislikes something 🥴

Added Finn back to the list and quite like Lucas. I know Finn isn’t in top 50 but imagine it’s quite popular with Finlay and Finley? I think it goes well with Cora though.

A lot of the other names we either can’t use because of family and friends or OH has already vetoed them.

Blake seems very surnamey to me. Maybe because of Quentin Blake?

That’s because it is a surname. But it’s also a Scottish first name meaning bright and shining.

My OH feels the same…but Oscar Isaac?

My daughter has vetoed Finn. Apparently it sounds fishy. Obviously it’s not her decision but there’s no pleasing anyone is there… 🙃

Anyone thoughts on Rowan? I just can’t seem to get 100% on board with it.

With my daughter as soon as we read the name aloud we both knew it was right. Still had a couple of other choices. But I think we always knew it was the one.
