Like the abbreviation for audio visual.

Ayvee, gravy, navy etc.

Purplemagnolias · 17/12/2022 22:15

Could be either Ay of Ah at beginning, so I'd wait to be told.

MerryMarigold · 17/12/2022 22:32

Ay vee

Savoretti · 17/12/2022 22:34

I only know one and she is av ee

MarmiteCoriander · 17/12/2022 22:35

Ayy- Vee?

Not familiar with it so not sure.

Mykittensmittens · 17/12/2022 22:41

It’s a-vee. Under the ‘rules’ of English language, adding an E or an EE makes the initial vowel sound its name. So adding E makes an A a literally ‘A’ not an ah or anything else.
