We’re not having a middle name and the last name will be double barrelled (west African and British last names, both short).

@Cherchezlaspice, you can surely know that I mean that unfortunately most UK people won’t realise Isa is also an African name. Read what I’ve said, it’s a shame, people don’t know more.

As said, I love Ibari but you must choose what feels right for you. Probably not anything I like.

Isa is a popular Muslim name.

Seems like you want to deliberately presume spiteful intention. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Is that what you’ve experienced in the past? There’s no need to project that negative intention onto me.

I think Isa is a absolutely fantastic African name and a nice, diminutive European name. A mother can enjoy pleasing two cultures with that name. All is good then!

For all I know, it is a hugely significant name in African culture. I can only say that it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be perceived as an African name, nobody has stated that in reality, it isn’t.

I encourage you to get out there and educate UK people about your culture and the breadth of names.

Murphy is very different in style from your other names. And I think is more of a male name.

I don't watch sports, I haven't seen the actress in anything I've watched and I don't listen to Swedish music.

Why should I know who any of those people are?

It’s not even close to the calibre of the other names.

I really like Vida, Izuka, Ibari and Isa (although would think it was pronounced Eye-sah). I have an ‘I’ name myself.
