I love it. There's a restaurant in Paris called Ferdi, named after the owners' son, Ferdinand.

It's fine but Ferdi is a better spelling. Or Ferdy.
Ferdie looks a bit feminine

I love it... but that's because my family owned a highland bull called Ferdinand! Grin
So in my head all Ferdinand's should have deep ginger hair (and love carrots!)
