As a first and middle name combination it is perfectly fine

Frankie-Joe does sound like it could be one of Bo and Luke's cousins.

Frank Joseph is a decent first and middle name combination though.

The only boy Frankies I've met have all been little terrors and, for want of a better expression, have come from 'rough' families. It's not a name I would ever use.

People only ever refer to them by the first name and parents get irate!
