I really like Lincoln, but my dh doesn't love it. I'd like to get other peoples opinions please? Dh likes Sage, but I'm really not sure about it. We're finding it very hard to come to an agreement.

Lincoln is okay. I wouldn't go with sage.

What other names are on each of your lists? Because it seems both of you hates the other's first choice, so it's time to look beyond these two.

Have you ever been to Lincoln? Sage just makes me think of stuffing. Sorry but any other names on your list? I can’t think of any suggestions based on those two names.

For a boy I assume? I see sage as more of a girls name. It’s outing but I have a Lincoln (boy) for various reasons 😬. And while it wasnt my first choice and more a compromise between his dad and I, I actually love it now. Easy to pronounce and spell, never met another, cool nickname. He’s now a pretty cool and handsome 10 yo and it really suits him and he really loves his name.

Yes you're all right about Sage, it's awful isn't it!? I think it's more commonly a girls name. I actually like it for a girl, but not at all for a boy.
