Whats your opinions or rating? Not too fussed on the association to Roseanne Barr, she’s not known well where we are. Róisín is pronounced row-sheen where we are in Ireland.

Love Róisín. That would definitely be my choice, of the two.

NannyR · 29/10/2022 20:32

Definitely Roisin.

JamSandle · 29/10/2022 20:32

Roisin. It's so pretty.

caitlinrose · 29/10/2022 21:39

Róisín.

Roseanne Barr is known all over the world and she is not unproblematic. I immediately think of her even though I was born when her claim to fame was already cancelled.

drpet49 · 29/10/2022 21:40

Neither. Rosanna is far nicer.

EmmaC78 · 29/10/2022 21:46

Roisin definitely.

Neither. Rosanna is far nicer.

💯

GreenCardi · 29/10/2022 21:48

Róisín is a beautiful name. Roseanne sounds old fashioned to me. Rosie is cute though.

Marshmallowmountain · 29/10/2022 21:49

Roisin for sure

Apileofballyhoo · 29/10/2022 21:49

Róise is nice too.

Baconandcabbage1 · 29/10/2022 21:51

I’ve always loved Roisin and I like your pronunciation

Pumpkinpatchlookinggood · 29/10/2022 21:52

Roseanna. Or your dc will get Raisin...

johsq20 · 29/10/2022 21:55

I know a Roisin, love it & looks lovely with the accents.

Roseanna. Or your dc will get Raisin...

In Ireland?

Snugglemonkey · 29/10/2022 21:58

Róisín is a beautiful name. I was on my list. I agree with pp that Rosanna is nicer than Rosanne, but Róisín is so much nicer than both.

JoonT · 29/10/2022 22:13

Roisin. Irish names are beautiful.

elm26 · 29/10/2022 22:16

My mum is Roisin and I think it's lovely!

Roseanna. Or your dc will get Raisin...

I don't think anyone in Ireland would refer to Roisin as Raisin 😂

helpmum2003 · 29/10/2022 22:36

They are very different names. I would go for Roisin as you live in Ireland. I agree with pp that Rosanna is nicer than Roseanne. Personally I prefer just Anna or Rose with other as middle name.

Firebird83 · 29/10/2022 22:37

Rosanne spelled this way

LulooLemon · 29/10/2022 22:51

Roisin

LizzieBet14 · 29/10/2022 23:05

Roseanna or Roisin

FayCarew · 30/10/2022 07:19

Róisín. Roseanna is nice but Roseanne seems a bit 1960s.

astoundedgoat · 30/10/2022 07:21

Roisín

the Roseanne association is definitely known in Ireland.

Roseanna or Rosalind are pretty too.

Manifestingbaby · 30/10/2022 07:22

Róisín
