Personally avoid Alexandra, my name is a similar principle that it's shortened to a boys name and I've always hated it! Been very careful to really think about nicknames that my kids could get from their names!

My three favourites are some of my all-time favourite girl names: Naomi, Alice and Emily (I also love Felicity, Matilda, Lara, Alexandra and Eliza though). 😍

Least favourite are Margot, Thea and Wren.

Can't stand Maeve - frumpy to my ears. Also hate Flora - can't not think of margarine....

Worst - Naomi - sounds so whiney to me, like a whinging toddler
Maeve - I never know how to pronounce it - is it Mave like Rave or Meeve like peeve? Or May-Eve or May-Ev?
Not keen on Pippa either. Sounds a bit bossy, Not sure why!
