Boys name you weren’t quite brave enough to use?

Struggling to think of another boys’ name. I like names that aren’t super popular - so i’d love to hear your boy name choices that maybe were ever-so-slightly too “out there” for you to use!

I always quite liked Keir but can’t do that name now.

Some of the names mentioned here are not that uncommon.

I work in a very diverse secondary school, and we have an Elvis in Y7, amongst other unusual names that have come through the school, such as Bright, Treasure, Queenette, to name but a few.

Also, my DS knows a young male, first name is Vegas, which I think is really cool.

I think anything goes these days.

... but it was dh that wasn't brave enough - I still would've.

Oh I love this name!

I was keen on Rufus a few years ago. I thought it was unusual and super cool. Then a Rufus moved in a few doors up. So much for it being unusual....
I'm glad I went with James instead....Not even trying to be unusual or cool!!

Thorben (Thor for short

I always loved Blaise or Etienne. We finally chose Etienne, butvthen when he was born looked nothing like an Etienne, so now we have something completely different!

OP do be aware that some of these names that people weren't "brave" enough to use are pretty much top 20 in lots of parts of the UK eg Felix and Gabriel.

For me it was Taliesin. I would have loved to use that but wouldn't have been brave enough.
