Please tell my sister this is a horrible idea

So, my sister told us last night her names ideas, and she was asking which we prefer. They decided that her husband and her would mix their names to create a new name.

So if it is a girl

Jamifer or Jeniams

A boy :

Jems
Jamer

We all told us it was horrible. But she insist on saying "stranger will find that cute". What do you think

Update: The baby is born and no, it wasn't a joke. It isn't as bad as Jamifer, but it is still bad.

I asked my sis, and she told me that she doesn't mind me sharing it, because I quote " we are in love with the name".

A classic name ( UK) that was massively popular at the end of the 20th C.

Maybe they could spell it “ Jamez “

Is it a long pronunciation, or a short one?

The only couple I know who have done this successfully were Kay and Lee. Richard and Michelle may have thought Richelle was cute, but that poor woman spends most of her life saying "No, not Rachel".

I like pp's suggestion of Jess.

It is a girl. So James wasn't an option. They wanted a mix of the name.

Hope she won’t get misgendered.
My own name is obviously “
Feminine”, but when conversing on messenger years ago, people from Afghanistan assumed I was male!
