Baby name help to follow the pattern!

My friend is struggling with a baby name for a boy she is pregnant with.
She currently has 2 girls whose shortened names begin with a B and their full names don’t. Example Elizabeth but goes by Betsy.
The only name she can think of for a boy that would fit this pattern is William to be known as Billy.
any suggestions welcome!!!

I know one of those too, I think it’s kind of an established nn

I know an Edward who is Bear, which I guess also works for Rupert

Also a Ronan who is Bo, which I guess could also work for Rory, Rowan, Robin/Robert, and I suppose Reuben

I like the more traditional ones better, but Ben or Benny could work for Reuben/Ruben (or Eben).
