Surely all the people that are pg are on antenatal threads??? We've done names to death on ours, I woudln't dream of inflicting it on anyone else.

They just don't care.

Choosing names is only fun if you're pg, save it for your other pg friends.

Why oh why is this a topic???

Even I'm bored of baby names, and DP will probably strangle me if I make one more mention of what to call the little bundle of terror growing inside of me.

I really don't get it, and even if you do wnat someones views on it, do you think you'll get an honest answer here??

Thready, I actually met someone who was named Vagina. Her mother had never heard the word until she was pregnant and thought it was lovely.

BroccoliSpears · 19/01/2008 14:29

Just to take this thread seriously for a moment, I've twice used MN as a names sounding board and found it very useful; once to ask what your grandads were called which gave me loads of ideas of good 'old man' names. Useful. And once to ask how many of a couple of particular names everyone knew. It gave me a rough idea of which name was more popular. Useful.

To be clear, I don't actually give a stuff if you pretend people on the internet like the names I choose for my children, but you are helpful with specific research.

Now, what does everyone think of Comfort Triphena for a girl?

theyoungvisiter · 19/01/2008 14:32

mom2latinoboys, was she perchance friends with Austin Powers, first name Alotta?

I think Chlamydia is very euphonious

Desiderata · 19/01/2008 14:34

It reminds me of that Dean Friedman song ... 'Lydia, Lydia'

onebatmother · 19/01/2008 15:05

Clit (for a boy)
Ryvita (for a girl)
