Thready, I actually met someone who was named Vagina. Her mother had never heard the word until she was pregnant and thought it was lovely.

Just to take this thread seriously for a moment, I've twice used MN as a names sounding board and found it very useful; once to ask what your grandads were called which gave me loads of ideas of good 'old man' names. Useful. And once to ask how many of a couple of particular names everyone knew. It gave me a rough idea of which name was more popular. Useful.

To be clear, I don't actually give a stuff if you pretend people on the internet like the names I choose for my children, but you are helpful with specific research.
