Eli, Elliot(t), Archie,

I quite like Eli. It's an ancient full name in it's own right, not just a diminutive for Elijah as some people will undoubtably tell you. I prefer the Elliot spelling to Elliott. Archie is one of many names like Alfie/Freddie/Albie/Reggie which are fry popular at the moment, and while I don't think having a diminutive as a full name is objectively terrible, they aren't my style and I think they will date.

Elliot is lovely
(My friend was advised by the registrar that ‘Elliott’ is the surname version of the name)

DotDotDotDotDot · 17/07/2022 20:15

Elliot (this spelling) is my favourite from your list.
I used to really like Eli (pronounced EE-lie), even had it on my list for my last pregnancy. Unfortunately I met a male dentist with this name who pronounced it like Ellie which totally put me off it. I’m not sure perhaps they pronounce it like that in places outside of the UK?
Archie is ok but will date I think.
