My kids are 16-21 so I won't be using any myself! But I still think of names I like that I rarely hear, especially in the under 10s. Of course my choices may age me! Some I like:

Natasha
Naomi
Cosima
Greta
Sebastian
Conrad
Jamie
Tamzin
Constantine

And maybe this isn't underused (?) I dunno but my fav boy's name is Dominic and DH said NO.

Douglas and Duncan are nice classic Scottish names.

Both my first and middle names have been mentioned so far. preens

(I nc for this to avoid outing myself.)

There's a thread about a willow tree right now which reminds me that the name Willow has always been one of my favourites, and feels underused. I would have expected it to be far more common since one of the main characters on Buffy was named Willow, but I've never met a Willow.

That's interesting, because I teach a couple of Willows (both early teens). It's a nice name.

I love Sylvia/Sylvie and had I had girls I may have used it, but then they would have had a name that was not of their generation.

My parents gave me a name that was not of my generation and I hated being the only one with an old fashioned name when I was a kid.

Most of these names aren't chronically underused, some come up on here again and again.

My absolute favourite is Hilda. It's probably a good job we never had a daughter, as DH hates it and we'd have seriously fallen out...
