Please help us decide on a name for our boy!

Our first child, a boy, is due in October and we are really struggling to agree. We both like’ lots of names but I’m not sure we love any.

Family members have commented that some of these are a bit ‘odd’ (‘what’s wrong with James’ etc). I think my partners current favourites are Fox or River but I couldn’t bear people snorting when we introduce our beautiful baby!

I think a good test when naming a child is will you still love it after you have had to call them repeatedly to get them to stop doing something/come downstairs/put their socks and shoes on.

😂I had to repeat DC2s name constantly when she was a pain in the arse 'spirited' toddler.

Theodore every time - can be Theo or Ted if he wants, as well!

I like lots on your list, I do prefer Cassidy to Caspian though, I would be put off by the celebrity names (River -Jamie Oliver, Shiloh, Harper)
