Omg don't do Quinn because kids at school are gonna learn the word quim at some point.

Robyn is a lovely name though!

Robyn, because I know a little Robyn and it’s a lovely name and I would worry about Quinn- & possible inappropriate name calling-in high school.

I mean, you wouldn’t think Hayden would be an issue but it cruelly got changed to ‘Hardon’ for the whole of high school for one unfortunate boy, even though he was popular and well liked!

I thought Quinn was a boys' name

Robyn is lovely.

Robyn

Robyn

Wouldn't worry too much about name calling though kids will always come up with something. Unless it’s something really bad like fanny.

KirstenBlest · 04/06/2022 12:45

Robyn

Quinn is a surname. Robyn is much much nicer

Notanotherwindow · 04/06/2022 12:55

Robin. Though I think we need cute squishy baby photo to advise best.

Luredbyapomegranate · 04/06/2022 12:57

Robin, ideally spelt like that. it’s great

Quinn is grim

esoryelneh · 04/06/2022 13:18

Don't do Quinn

She will probably be called quim. A slang for a vagina. And they sound almost identical.

Robin is nice.

pinklavenders · 04/06/2022 13:43

Quinn is a boys name. I know two boy Quinns and one Quentin nicknamed Quinn.

Robyn is much more suitable for a girl!

Pennyhill22 · 04/06/2022 13:43

Robyn

Needanotherholidayasap · 04/06/2022 13:44

Robyn is lovely. I would assume Quinn to be a boy.

pinksquash13 · 04/06/2022 13:48

I like Quinn for a girl. I know of two lovely ones. I've never heard a child use quim in my teaching career.

stickygotstuck · 04/06/2022 13:52

The only Quinn I know is a boy.
Young teen, no issues with name calling at school.

Madcats · 04/06/2022 14:12

Quinn seems to a non-binary name in my teen's circle.

I have a SiL called "Robin", which used to confuse some people. She coped.

MissPocket · 04/06/2022 14:14

Robyn

The (male) Quinns I know have not had any issues either. I think it's a great name and Q is a cool initial.

Luxa · 04/06/2022 20:48

Robyn

Newtothis777 · 05/06/2022 11:09

Since you have had a baby girl, Robyn.

TheFormidableMrsC · 05/06/2022 11:19

I know two girls with these names. Both are lovely!
