Robyn is lovely. Not a fan of Quinn I'm afraid.

restedbutexhausted · 05/06/2022 11:21

You been watching Scandal? Hmm

I prefer Quinn.

Dalekjastninerels · 05/06/2022 11:23

Robyn would be my first choice.

CoffeeWithCheese · 05/06/2022 11:35

I have a Robyn, nicknamed Bobbi and I still love the name - it’s one that I’ve found can transition well from cute little girl to stubborn tweenager in a way some names don’t do well.

pinklavenders · 05/06/2022 12:09

For a girl, Robyn

For a boy, Quinn

ChairP0se9to5 · 05/06/2022 12:11

Kim is nicer than Quinn

SunnyShiner · 05/06/2022 13:35

Not Quinn. It's far too close to Quim 😱

rosed1008 · 05/06/2022 13:37

I have a Robin :) shes 2 and every day I am pleased we chose it.

Wor · 05/06/2022 14:01

Robyn.

Quinn is a boy’s name.

Fivebeanchilli · 05/06/2022 14:11

Robyn.

Discobabe98 · 05/06/2022 14:15

I love Quinn. Never heard the word quim before in real life (apart from on here) and I’m in my mid twenties.

Disagree that Quinn is a boys name- it’s unisex the same way Robin can be.

AliBaliBears · 05/06/2022 14:32

Never heard the word quim in my life.

I know someone with surname Quinn so I associate it with that.

I like Robyn/Robin.

pinklavenders · 05/06/2022 15:11

I've never ever heard quim before either... it's only brought up on Mumsnet?!

To me Quinn sounds strong and masculine, like Finn or Flynn. I only know boy Quinns

mrsfoof · 05/06/2022 15:12

Robyn

gihiviboo · 05/06/2022 15:17

Both unisex names, so personally I wouldn't as I feel they are more male.

I do like that they aren't too frilly. What about Eden ?

Dalekjastninerels · 05/06/2022 15:18

Quinn makes me think of the song Mighty Quinn

Also Superquinn and Quinsworth

Quim old tImey name for ladyparts (I could be wrong) no never associated that with the name

mycatisannoying · 05/06/2022 15:22

Quinn is awful and a surname.

Robyn is nice.

Kanaloa · 05/06/2022 15:23

Robin for sure (prefer Robin rather than Robyn). I like the sound of Quinn but it sounds like quim.

Dalekjastninerels · 05/06/2022 15:31

Robin is also good.

Not Quinn

axolotlfloof · 05/06/2022 15:38

I am reading Robert Galbraith's (JKR) novel Silkworm at the moment.
Quinn (surname) has met a grisly end.
Robin (f) is a great character.
I prefer Robin (or Robyn).

Ooh I love Eden. I'll make a note if I decide to have another 😂

Cloud16 · 05/06/2022 15:55

I like Robyn spelt with the y as it seems to be the standard spelling for women and girls now.

HisHX · 05/06/2022 16:02

I’ve never heard ‘quim’ in my life! (And love the name Quinn, especially for a girl).

THisbackwithavengeance · 05/06/2022 16:23

Your DD is 9 days old and still nameless??? What are you calling her at the moment?

I prefer Quinn. Like Quinn Febray in Glee. Very American cheerleader and cool.

CornishTiger · 05/06/2022 16:29

Well the Quinn is my life is a boy and not name calling yet. Early on was mistaken for Finn. No one struggles or connects on him name. In fact it’s a pretty normal name in a class of varied names.

I do know a girl Quinn and it just felt wrong to me. Most people have associated Quinn’s as males. I know other male Quinn’s too. One a teen and One similar age to ours.

I like Robyn. I know male Robin’s too.
