Do you like the name Carl?

Should stay in the 80s I reckon.

It's actually quite a nice name although does sound dated. Maybe you could start a revival?!

It’s a bit dated but there’s nothing wrong with it if that doesn’t bother you.

I'm not keen on it. I don't think it's terrible, but it sounds dated to me. I do like the Italian form, Carlo, though I wonder if it's wearable for a non-Italian child.

It's my DH's name, but I don't like it. He doesn't either.

Sounds very 80s to me but not in a good way. The Carls I knew were rough as fuck in neon shell suits pretending to be boxers and trying to pick fights in the street every Saturday night.

I don't mind it at all, surprised so many people are vehemently against it. Prefer it with a K though.

If you use it don't move to Scotland as it would be pronounced as Carol.
