As the title suggests. Looking for short fiery, spirited, sprightly etc girls names. I like Max, Lucy. Got any more ideas? Smile

I think Giselle works. It's fiesty, with a 'spunky' nickname.

I think it’s the opposite! Tragic girl with weak heart who throws it all away for the luuurve of someone who doesn’t deserve her!
KirstenBlest · 11/03/2022 21:29

I'd go vintage or scandi.

Thora or Hilda

Both fab

Luredbyapomegranate · 11/03/2022 21:33

Arran, Astra, Hero, Juno, Cleo, Astra, Vita, Thora, Astrid, Gwen, Jean, Zelda, Oona, Jocelyn, or Vivienne, Ramona, Olympia, Gwendoline if you are open to longer names

@GlitteryGreen

I think I know what you mean *@NOTANOTHERTRUECRIMEPODCAST*.

I prefer less frilly names for girls too, and so far my preferred are Frankie, Rowan, Stevie, Robin, Billie and Georgie.

So boys’ names?
KirstenBlest · 11/03/2022 21:46

@donquixotedelamancha, none of those are 1 or 2 syllables

How about Jizzbelle, Simenne, Phlooid, Cumbelle, Jaclette?

KirstenBlest · 11/03/2022 21:47

I think Jaclette would be better spelt as Jacqlette

@Luredbyapomegranate They're not exclusively boys names, they are all unisex and many girls have these names.

Amber

mswales · 11/03/2022 22:03

I love Max for a girl too but didn't like Maxine and decided against it in the end. I also wanted something strong and sparky. Some of the others on my list were:
Rae/Raya
Rowan
Sid (Sidney or Cressida)
Ted (Theodora)
Sadie
Sukie
Cora
Bess
Margot
Hester
Astrid
Remi
Quinn

So many great names, every single one vetoed by my partner!

mswales · 11/03/2022 22:04

Forgot Roxy

villamariavintrapp · 11/03/2022 22:06

@GlitteryGreen they are boys names, although people do use them for girls now.

Oy vey! She's 19! Constructive criticism is acceptable but some of you are being downright catty to a pregnant teenager.

Constructive criticism is criticism given with a compassionate and helpful attitude while DESTRUCTIVE criticism is criticism given with the intention to harm or insult someone.

daisypond · 11/03/2022 22:22

Who’s19? What are you talking about?

You’re thinking of baby Apricot

I don’t think spunky mum is 19’

Yep. There’s nothing wrong with them individually, but if that’s all you got on your list, it is just a bunch of boys names

TheHoptimist · 11/03/2022 22:39

@KirstenBlest

Surnames as first names are trendy so how about Seaman?
Very Good

Surname Staines
