Anna or Nina

Just that really. We will use one or the other as both are family names that mean a lot to us. We may use the other for any future child. But which for our first? Which do you prefer?

I wouldn’t choose Nina in the future with Anna though. They are way too similar.

Nina I think. More unusual, and it's got a bit more sass to it.

Beautiful names. Nina was one of my top girl names, although Anna wasn't on the table as it was already taken.

I do think they are a bit close in sound for siblings, though.

I’d choose Nina first.

Nina is super popular at the moment - I know 3 nursery age or early primary. Anna is classic.

I have a Nina, and love it obviously. One thing I liked about it is that it is never super popular, never unpopular, long history, not obviously connected to time, class, age, ethnicity, etc. 10/10 name.
