Girls name- classic but not “try hard”

Looking for inspiration! I am soooooo fussy about names and have read pages of threads here. I would a name that is classic, that most people would have heard of/ know how to spell, but is not popular. I reeeeally don’t like the current trend for very frilly/ over the top sounding names (sorry, just an opinion!)

I like:
Rosalind, Susannah, Alexandra (maybe a bit too popular), Juliet,

Dislike: Ottilie, Amelie, Freya, Ophelia, Verity, the whole Ada/Eva, Ivy Evelyn set etc

Margot, Clara etc becoming too popular

Don’t like too complex names like Arabella, Genevieve,

So if there is anyone left I haven’t offended would be great to hear your thoughts! 🙈

Loving the approval of Susannah! I have one and a Philippa. Rosamund was also on my list, as was Helena. I would suggest

My friend called her little girl Rosalia, I love it. When you mentioned Rosalind it reminded me of that a little!

Ruth. Feels like a strong, no nonsense name. Also, Thea has that vibe too but is a bit frillier. I know a Rosalind Mary. Lovely name.

Susannah is fabulous. It was on our shortlist. Classic but soooo underused now. Love the full name. But Suzy is also a sweet Nn and there’s Suki, too, if you want something a bit more offbeat as a NN.

Agree with a pp that Rosa is lovely but I wouldn't call it unusual. I know several ranging from babies up to about 14. I'd avid Alexandra as they are bound to be subject to Alexa jokes. I don't think that home device is going anywhere any time soon. Love Rosalia and Callista the latter of which was on the short list for both dc. What about Isabella or Felicity ?

I used to love Alexandra but then taught a 'girl Alex' and a 'boy Alex' in the same class.... and that is how they became known.....
