Skye, Holly or Florence?

GirlyGalore · 07/03/2022 22:47

Still undecided on a baby girl name. Her sisters are called Rosie and Poppy.
This week I'm favouring Skye, Holly or Florence.
Middle names will be Eleanor Juliet (either way around) and our surname is 1 syllable starting H...
Help please!

Florence Elenor Juliet. Although all three names are lovely!

CandyflossKid · 07/03/2022 22:52

Rosie, Poppy and Skye

helpmum2003 · 07/03/2022 22:53

Florence

OnTheHillNotOverIt · 07/03/2022 22:54

Juliet for me and I have a Florence Grin

welcometothecircus · 07/03/2022 22:54

Florence is lovely

Thoosa · 07/03/2022 22:57

Either Holly or Florence go really well with the siblings’ names. With a one syllable H surname, though, Holly could sound a bit starlet (Holly Hart, Holly Holt, Holly Hughes..)

So if it were me, I’d go with Florence, which is beautiful.

Starryskiesinthesky · 07/03/2022 23:03

All are nice names but I have always had a soft spot for Skye.

mrwalkensir · 07/03/2022 23:06

Skye Floss would be lovely...

urbanbuddha · 07/03/2022 23:07

Skye.
Or Molly maybe - Holly goes too far in the direction of a bunch of flowers.

Nypie · 08/03/2022 02:14

Holly sounds nice with the other sister names but Florence Eleanor Juliet is my favourite.

Rainbowqueeen · 08/03/2022 02:16

Skye
But I actually love them all

HeadlessGummyBears · 08/03/2022 02:37

They’re lovely names, but if I had to choose between Skye, Holly or Florence, I’d choose Florence.

But I think either Skye or Holly go better with Rosie and Poppy.

BasiliskStare · 08/03/2022 02:45

Florence

@mrwalkensir - but Skye Floss makes a great name for a toothpaste Wink

Mumofgirls2017 · 08/03/2022 04:24

Florence!

RedWingBoots · 08/03/2022 05:03

I currently know lots of "Florence"s (and "Poppy"s) so I'm biased but Holly or Skye goes more with her sisters names.

HomeHomeInTheRange · 08/03/2022 05:05

Not Skye.

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 08/03/2022 05:19

Skye or Florence.

Zillamop · 08/03/2022 05:19

Holly

mnnewbie111 · 08/03/2022 05:37

@mrwalkensir

Skye Floss would be lovely...
Noooo that's like a cloud or something
mnnewbie111 · 08/03/2022 05:38

I have a Florence and even tho it's getting more popular I just adore the name so much. I don't like Skye at all but not sure why

propertealady · 08/03/2022 06:35

Skye - hippy dippy parents
Holly - classic, Christmas, maybe a bit 90s
Florence - very middle class, David Cameron's daughter

I think three flower names is lovely, and it would be a bit weird to go non-flower after two previous flower names but worried Holly and Poppy sounds too similar. Would you consider other flowers? Primrose, Marigold, Lily?

bloominglovelyorange · 08/03/2022 07:28

I really love holly
So underused these days too- perfect name

Lostmyway86 · 08/03/2022 07:40

Florence 100%. Really dislike Skye. Holly a bit meh.

babynamelover · 08/03/2022 08:56

I love Holly a lot with your other girls.

KylieCharlene · 08/03/2022 08:58
