I prefer Violet. The only Olive I know truly detests her name which taints it for me.

Not keen on either, but prefer Violet. I've never understood why Olive is such a popular name - to me it just conjures up an image of an oily greenish or black fruit. Olivia is lovely though (strange how two letters make such a difference!)
