Does it stand for something or is it just the two letters?

H3lpmeplz · 02/03/2022 21:51

Just two letters

What does A J mean? Is it short for something else?

AfterSchoolWorry · 02/03/2022 21:51

AJ !

GeneLovesJezebel · 02/03/2022 21:51

AJ

trevthecat · 02/03/2022 21:51

As in the whole first name would be AJ?

Springandsummerarecoming · 02/03/2022 21:51

If it’s something like Anthony James then I’d go for AJ as a nickname. I wouldn’t go for AJ as a name though, if that’s what you mean?

Ff10n · 02/03/2022 21:51

Aj as in Vaj?

Scarby9 · 02/03/2022 21:52

Please give the child a name to fall back on.
Austin James, or whatever.
Then you can call him AJ everyday.

Babadook76 · 02/03/2022 21:52

It’s the same spelling in each one. Does it not stand for something?

doodleygirl · 02/03/2022 21:52

It’s not a word or a name

Babadook76 · 02/03/2022 21:53

If the name is literally just ‘AJ’ then it’s ridiculous in every option

Youcansaythatagainandagain · 02/03/2022 21:53

AJ

But it’s usually the first two letters of a double barrel name isn’t it? Eg Anthony John so is spelled AJ like PJ etc.

Lipsandlashes · 02/03/2022 21:53

AJ isn’t a name though. It is literally two initials

NameChanger45465465 · 02/03/2022 21:54

Do gob mean to actually register his as AJ? Can you actually register that as a name ?

LawnFever · 02/03/2022 21:54

You can’t call a child capitalised initials that don’t stand for anything.

By all means think of two names beginning with A and J and then give him a nickname, but that’s not a name in itself.

NameChanger45465465 · 02/03/2022 21:54

YOU. Not gob!!

MonkeyPuddle · 02/03/2022 21:54

Well AJ isn’t a name in my eyes. It’s a nickname for somthing like Anthony James.

Little baby Adge. Choose something better.

Cakeybake · 02/03/2022 21:56

I know of someone who spelled it Ajay. Seems more like a full name rather than just initials

Beachsidesunset · 02/03/2022 21:56
  1. Arnold Judas

The registrar won't allow any variation of 'AJ', so don't be silly.

Alwayswonderedwhy · 02/03/2022 21:57

Option 4

SparkleSpangle · 02/03/2022 22:00

You can't give a baby a couple of letter and pretend it's a name. Give the poor thing a name and abbreviate to AJ if you like.

YvanEhtNiojYvanEhtNioj · 02/03/2022 22:00
Hmm

Give your a child a real name Fgs

WhatNoReally · 02/03/2022 22:07
  1. Think of a name.

And whilst we're on spelling, it's 'you' not 'u'.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 02/03/2022 22:12

AJ is at least easy to spell.

How about Balonz?
