Thoughts on Ruth? Juniper? Olive?

Ruth -boring
Juniper- love it, June for short?
Olive- meh

Juniper and Olive are horses' names, Ruth is very 1975.

Prefer Juno, Olivia and Romilly.

Ruth - sweet, I understand why people say it's boring, but I quite like it.
Juniper - painfully trendy to me, even though I like the sound
Olive - the only Olive I know truly hates her name, and regrets not changing it years ago.

Juniper is so achingly trendy it makes me cringe

Ruth my only concern would be that, depending on where you live, she'll probably be called Rooff

Juniper is the name of the company that has given and is giving me the worst customer service if my life. It's not a girls name to me.

Olive is horrible.

I don’t get the love for Olive, it’s just frumpy.

Juniper is ok, I know one who goes by Juni.

Ruth is ok, know quite a lot of grown up Ruth’s but not any little ones so it would be a nice change.

I think Ruth will be popular again in a few years !! It’s due a comeback!

Oh god not Ruth, spent my life being called Roof or ruthie or Americans like baby ruth annoying as a child patronising as an adult

I don't really like Ruth, but I think that's because I used to know a horrible girl at school with that name. Juniper is nice, but my favourite is Olive.

I know a couple of amazing Ruths and I always think it's so ill-fitting that they have such a dull thud of a name.

I like them all, especially Olive, but I prefer Jonquil or Hebe and I think they match your style

Ruth - love it. It's short and too the point but it seems a name where it would fit any personality. Ruth could be a quite, quirky lady who works as a florist, a cool, slightly edgy teen, your local gp or a female plumber. It has the cute option of Ruthie for when she's a baby / small child. Easy to spell, everybody knows the name but it's uncommon. Just an all over lovely name that I think more people should use

Olive - also really like it, but it's very similar to the ever popular Olivia

Juniper - I'm not a fan sorry. It just makes me think of gin, seems a bit faddy. I'm not a fan of juno either

I love Ruth. Think it is such a warm name. We are done with kids but our next dog will be called Ruthie.

Olive reminds me of an old woman, Popeyes wife or Olive from On the Buses crunching pickled onions. It’s very old fashioned to me but then I’m old myself!

Juniper - will she go to State or Private school? Bit pretentious and it’ll be shortened to Juni.

Ruth - sounds quite severe and harsh. Love Ruth from This Morning though!

Great aunts are called Ruth. Olive is a dumpy name. Juniper is very clunky.
