Do any of your chosen names get compliments?

The names we chose for our DC are quite common so don’t and I wouldn’t expect them to but I grew up with regular (nice) comments about my name as it’s a bit unusual.

In particular interested for boys names as trying to think of one that’s quite safe but also a bit different!

@CaffiSaliMali I'd say the compliments are genuine, I don't think adults would comment on another adults name to say they like it if they didn't like it. Last week a women I met out said I had a beautiful name, and I could tell by her face she meant it.

My DC has an unusual name which gets a lot of compliments. I won’t be disclosing it because it’s universally hated by MN!

DD1 is called Stella and we get a lot of compliments on her name. Really pleased we went with it rather than a 'safer' option

I can understand Stella getting compliments, it is unusual enough to comment on and also a nice name!
