Elizabeth Jane or Tessa Joy.

Connotations or associations I may not have thought of welcomed!

I like them both. I think Elizabeth pegs it for me though.

fruitbrewhaha · 21/12/2021 16:30

But isn't Tessa a nickname for Elizabeth?

WhatScratch · 21/12/2021 16:33

’But isn't Tessa a nickname for Elizabeth’

Not that I’ve ever heard. Theresa maybe?

DameAlyson · 21/12/2021 16:36

Yes, it's a nickname for Theresa.

Hellosunshiner · 21/12/2021 16:37

Elizabeth Jane with Beth as the nn. (Or Elizabeth Joy equally nice).

Tess is much nicer than Tessa, IMHO.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 21/12/2021 16:37

Tessa

Elizabeth

Tessa Joy

NameChangeCity123 · 21/12/2021 16:38

Tessa is a lovely name

Billyliarohdear · 21/12/2021 16:39

Elizabeth Jane.
( But I don't like Lizzie. I personally use Libby as a nn).

ofwarren · 21/12/2021 16:45

Elizabeth Jane

WhoppingBigBackside · 21/12/2021 16:47

Elizabeth Jane.
I really like Tess but Tessa is not as nice. Don't really like Joy as a middle name

alwayswrighty · 21/12/2021 16:49

Elizabeth Jane, but when I hear Tessa I think of Tess Daly who irritates me

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 21/12/2021 16:50

Tessa Jane

Mumofgirls2017 · 21/12/2021 17:38

Difficult- both have pros and cons! Elizabeth Jane could sound a bit boring but is a lovely timeless name with lots of nickname potential. Tessa Joy has a nice ring to it and seems to have a bit more personality to it…. But also won’t be everyone’s cup of tea! But either way they are nice names, you can’t really go wrong. I’d probably go Tessa Joy if i had to pick

SummerLew · 21/12/2021 17:56

I'd go for Elizabeth Jane; but if I could mess with them I'd go for Tess Elizabeth.

TuftyMarmoset · 21/12/2021 18:34

Elizabeth Jane. Or Tessa Elizabeth.

Rosieparkerss · 21/12/2021 18:36

I like Tessa Elizabeth, none of the combinations are offensive tbh.

CovidCorvid · 21/12/2021 18:39

Tessa, lovely name and a bit different without being wacky.

MajorCarolDanvers · 21/12/2021 18:40

Love Elizabeth

SunsetSmartmeter · 21/12/2021 18:41

Elizabeth, Jane & Joy are lovely. Personally not a fan of Tessa. I'd go with Elizabeth Jane. Beautifully classical.

Comedycook · 21/12/2021 18:41

Elizabeth Jane definitely

I think naming your child Tessa is setting them up to spend their school days being called Tosser by the other kids.

siennna · 21/12/2021 18:42

Tessa Joy - much more interesting ☺️

IncompleteSenten · 21/12/2021 18:43

@fruitbrewhaha

But isn't Tessa a nickname for Elizabeth?
Also for Esther
DramaAlpaca · 21/12/2021 18:47

Either of them, both lovely. I suppose Elizabeth is more versatile due to its many diminutives. Love Jane and Joy as middle names.

I'm going to throw Tess Elizabeth into the mix, if it hasn't been suggested already.
