I bloody love it OP - currently pg with DC2 and hoping to convince DH that Sebastian is the name to go for if we have a boy! Hardly ever heard of, but I knew a lovely Seb when I was a teenager and I’ve loved the name ever since

I know two under 5. One is known as Sebby and the other Seb. Lovely.

I know a Sebby (aged 8) it suits him.

I used to work with one who was blooming useless and annoying so that's kind of put me off it! I know of another one who's about 12 and I've heard my nephew mention one from school - they're 7/8 age group.

Not keen on it. Seb makes me think of Seborrhea and Sebum,
the bast bit makes me think of bastard

It makes me think of the Sebastian character in Little Britain

Nice name. I know one 3 yo. He will always be called Seb or Seba. Whether you like it or not. It is a nice name in my opinion

It’s fine, though less keen on Seb. It was ranked #39 in England and Wales last year which is far too popular for me.

I know quite a few. Lovely name! Sebby is cute when they’re little, and Seb is great for when he’s older.

I have one! It’s a fab name, more popular now than when he was born but not popular enough that you hear of loads of them.

I love Seb but I don’t like Sebastian. I’m not sure why.

My sons best friend is called Sebastian, all his class mates call him Seb.

Really like it! Rarely come across a Sebastian as a teacher, although I did know one at a baby group a few years ago. He was very cute!

I really like it and if ever had more children I'd definitely consider it for a boy, there's a couple of Sebastian's known as Sebby at ds school and think it's really sweet

I don't like Seb (sebaceous = oily) or Basty unfortunately.
