Plenty of people seemed to have enjoyed answering

@RosieLemonade. maybe consider that people are always going to be lemmings about giving "random personal information", cybercrime thrives on these threads "give me your grandfather's name, tell me your first car" get the picture? These fragments of info are really easy to harvest. cycbercriminals are patient people they're happy to wait around for this, but unfortunately people on here never learn until another hacking episode happens.

Alfred and Stanley. Very fashionable these days 😂
LOVE the name Stanley. That was my choice if I had had a boy. Didn't happen though and I have a girl called Beth instead... lol x

Some lovely names there. Both of mine are unusual and would be pretty outing, much as I would like to contribute.

Bernard and Lewis. He was never known as Lewis though, he went by a shortening of our surname. Which was interesting when he gave out to me for shortening my first name Grin

My gran (his wife) was sort of the same. Christened one name but went by an entirely different first name her whole adult life. Hers wasn't a 'surname nickname' though but literally a different name. Think christened Ivy but known as Betty, that kind of thing. Seems to have been quite common for that generation. Got very confusing when talking about her to her siblings back in Ireland though because they'd only ever known her as 'Ivy'

I've just realised my kids will only know one grandad's name. We don't know my exh's father's name. That's a weird realisation
