Which do you prefer?

Still early days but beginning to think of names for our daughter. Surname begins with H and is 3 syllables.

Willow Grace H
Willow Belle H
Autumn Grace H
Autumn Belle H

We also like Bella but not so keen.

What are people's thoughts on autumn? Some people we tell absolutely love it and others hate it!!!

I like Willow and Autumn a lot!

Grace is ok. I'm not fond of Belle.

I'd probably say Autumn Grace is my favourite, but Willow Grace is nice too

Both Willow and Autumn are beautiful! Grace is really common (widely used) but as a middle name I guess that doesn't matter as much, I think it flows better with the first name choices than Belle.

Thank you all. I think it would need to be a 1 syllable middle name as the surname is long and it just seems to sound better. Would be open to other middle names 🙂

Can't bear the filler name Grace or Rose. I like both your first names. How about Faith instead?

Autumn for me. I always worry about a child being called Willow and going through a podgy phase! I maybe over thinking that though. I think Autumn is a lovely name.

For the middle name, of the two I prefer Grace, Belle for me feels a bit Disney Princess, fine on a 7 year old girl but I can’t imagine it on a 40 year old woman!

I really like Autumn but find Willow a bit insubstantial. Belle is too twee for me, so I guess Grace in the middle although it's unfortunately a filler middle name.

I prefer Autumn as a first name. Willow seems quite popular recently.
If you want a short middle name maybe Liv, Beth, Tess, Nell, Ava, Ines, Joan?
Otherwise Autumn Grace would be nice.

Both middle names are just filler names and neither is very nice

No no no to Autumn. There are so many nice girls' names that you don't need to name a daughter after a horrid sludgy season when the clocks go back and it's dark for most of the day.

Willow is tricky as your daughter might not be willowy. It's also kind of the Chantelle of 2021.

Middle names: I've always gone for names with family significance. My DSis and I have Jane and Louise as our middle names - the 70s filler equivalents of Grace, May, etc.

I'd go back to the drawing board.

Willow Eve would be very pretty, or maybe even Willow Jane or Autumn Claire - I'd personally go for a more classic sounding middle name since Autumn and Willow are fairly modern/trendy (I know Grace is classic but it's very overused as a middle name).

Willow is nice but I'm not a fan of Autumn. They are very different imo apart from the obvious fact that they are nature names.Your middle names don't do much for me. Have you got any family names ? I understand have one syllable for flow but I just think that you could find something a little more special.
