Maisie or Ella?

These are just two names DH and I love
I know they're both rather popular but I think they're really pretty! what do you prefer? Maisie or Ella

Ella. I can't picture an adult Maisie (yes, I know there's an actress), it seems more suited to a child.

I'm so sorry but I don't like either. Ella is nothingy and Maisie is cutesy. If you forced me to choose I'd pick Ella, but only because I don't like cutesy names.

They're both a bit vapid, and I know three dogs named Maisie.

I really don't like either as Ella is overused/dull and Maisie is very cutesy. Thanks f I had to choose, I'd go for Ella.

I really like Maisie. Ella is ok but I know far more of them (primary age)

Imagine being a 50 year old with a serious job (think judge, ceo, consultant surgeon) and being called bloody Maisie.

Ella is better, but I still don't love it.

Sorry, I’m not keen on either. Maisie is too cutesy- it’s short for Margaret. If you used that, it would be a front-runner. Ella is very bland, but I’d choose Ella over Maisie.

Ella. I can't picture Maisie as a hard-headed businesswoman of fifty. Ella would find it easier to be taken seriously, I think.
