Hi all!
We still struggling with a name for our little boy... we have just massively over thought it now.

Which one goes best -

Our little girl is Imogen Rose Dyson

We are down to-:

Luca Oliver Dyson
Archie Luca Dyson
Luca James Dyson

Thank you xx

I prefer Luca James, although James Dyson is the inventor, so you may get comments on that.

However, I don't think either name really flows very well as the 2 names run into each other. Imogen is lovely and I think your surname works better with a first name that ends in a consonant, like Benjamin, Christopher, Edward.

Immaculatemisconception · 16/10/2021 17:36

Luke James. Sorry I don't like Luca but Luke is lovely.

HopelessSinking · 16/10/2021 17:39

Luca James.

Archie was ruined by the Sussexes.

PesosBandage · 16/10/2021 17:41

You have Luca down twice, so I reckon it's your favourite even if you don't realise it ;) I think Luca James is lovely.

DuvetDayIsEveryDay · 16/10/2021 17:41

I really don't like Luca or Archie. Sorry.

Nearlytheretrees · 16/10/2021 17:52

Luca James, really don't like Archie

wingsofabird · 16/10/2021 18:15

Lovely choices
I like Archie best

xem87 · 16/10/2021 18:32

Anyone have any suggestions we are so stuck. I think I just don't really like any names 😂

Oliver Luke Dyson

GoldChick · 16/10/2021 19:10

Or Archie Luke

AliceinBorderland · 16/10/2021 19:13

@Immaculatemisconception

Luke James. Sorry I don't like Luca but Luke is lovely.
I agree. Luke is amazing.

Luke Alexander is nice too.

Or Luke Oliver.

Don't like Archie. It is a nickname. Ot how about Archer.

PaolaDiLorenzo · 16/10/2021 19:14

I also think Oliver Luke Dyson is nice. Imogen and Oliver go really well together.

MsTSwift · 16/10/2021 19:15

I like Luke. Luca sounds pretentious to me unless you have Italian links.

xem87 · 16/10/2021 19:25

Problem is our dog is Olly so can't really have Oliver!

We aren't agreeing on any names 🙈 feeling really stressed as he needs a name xx

Luca James is a gorgeous name!

DotDotDotDotDot · 16/10/2021 19:39

Luca James is lovely, I’d choose that.
Maybe Luca Joseph
Luca Henry
Luca Samuel
Luca Nathaniel?

Whinge · 16/10/2021 19:41

I really like some of the names on your longer list, Zachary could definitely work and in my opinion flows better than Luca or Archie.

If you're open to suggestions how about

Alexander
Nathan
Thomas
Edwin
Oscar
Philip

KirstenBlest · 16/10/2021 19:42

Don't like Archie or Luca.

Lucas is ok as is Luke.

Luca - no
Lucas - ok
Archie - no
Harry - ok
Jacob - Adam no
Louie - awful. Louis is nice
Issac - ok
Zachary- ok but Zac is better than Zach

KirstenBlest · 16/10/2021 19:42

Jacob is ok too.
Isaac - the misspellings would bother me

MindyStClaire · 16/10/2021 19:43

I know it's not from your list but I really like the suggestion of Benjamin above. I think it goes very nicely with both your surname and your daughter's name. I'm biased though as DD2 would've been a Benjamin if she'd been a boy.

ILoveHauls · 16/10/2021 19:52

Benjamin is lovely and much nicer than the names on the list

Whinge · 16/10/2021 19:55

Glad to see others love the name. It's a classic that isn't used as often as it should be. It also works really well with the OPs surname. Smile
