Whatever happened to the name Lauren?

As someone with a very common 80s name maybe it's the same but I'm surprised it hasnt made a comeback.

It sounds beautiful, the lovely L sound and with Wren being so popular I thought Lauren would be popular too. Also a great name if you are honouring a Laurence in the family.

As you can tell I really like it. So what's my hesitation?!?

I absolutely love this name but my husband hated it. Has always been one of my favourites!

There were about 8 Lauren’s in my high school when I was there in the early 00s.
They are all bitches. Never met a nice Lauren.

My best friend - born in 1960 - is a Lauren. She lovely - as you would expect, seeings as she is my best friend

I recently met two Laurens - both HCPs in the same hospital doing the same role.
They were both fantastic and amazing and really made me like the name!
