Jasper?

Hello! So I've found out I'm having a baby boy and we are really stuck on names

We initially liked Rupert but have since gone off it and I don't think it goes with our surname. However have come across the name Jasper and I love it?

I've heard mixed things though, some people saying it is a joke name and others saying it is too posh. My first son is Arthur and I think the names go well together, but honestly what are your thoughts on the name Jasper?

I love it. I know a 3 year old Jasper.

I like Jasper. I’m not sure what people mean by saying it’s a joke name. It’s in the top 100 and still rising, so if it’s a joke clearly lots of people aren’t getting it!

I like both Jasper and Rupert.
Both go well with Arthur.

One of my pets is called Jasper. I prefer Rupert for a human.
I prefer Rupert for a bear. Jasper's a great name.

I’ve started to really like Jasper recently, I say go for it OP. Caspar is nice too.
Also don’t get the Bristol uni reference either btw.

Thank you! It's very mixed reaction but I still love the name.. I just don't know if I'm brave enough yet!.. thank you :)

I know a little Jasper and it's a fab name in my view.

Bristol uni reference is I think because it's quite a "posh" name and Bristol is renowned for being quite posh!

I only know dogs called Jasper, but I think it's a fabulous human name too.

I like both Rupert and Jasper. Can I also throw out Barnaby as a suggestion? I feel that would also fit beautifully.

I know a 40-something and a 11 year old Jasper. Its a fantastic name.
