Jade or Sapphire

Really love these two just cant decide?

Which one and why?

Sapphire, I think its a bit less usual!

Not a particular fan of either but if I had to pick it would be Jade. Sapphire sounds like a stripper name.

I know a Jade. Lovely woman, lovely name. I do not like Sapphire for a name.

I prefer the sound of Sapphire. However being blunt it probably wouldn't suit someone working class (I'm very working class myself so Its not an insult)
Jade is okay. It's not a particularly nice or a horrible name, IMO.

Therefore if you're working class go with Jade. If you're middle to upper class go with Sapphire.

Green is my favorite color so I would choose Jade . I also think Sapphire is a bit OTT.

Sapphire, I think it’s nicer. Possibly because I went to school with lots of Jades so Jade seems like the name of a mum rather than a baby now!

If you like gemstone names, OP, Esmeralda means emerald in Spanish. Giada is the Italian version of Jade.

Please do use sapphire. It’s my name and you get everyone assuming I am thick as pig shit and dance around a pole for a living!

Jade, just because it's nicer on all ages. At over 50, I wouldn't like to be called Sapphire.

Prefer jade.

Agree MondeoFan a nickname like Saffy is really nice and doesn't sound too OTT which I think Sapphire has the potential to be.
